Breast Cancer Survivor Crystal Schafer

Oct. 12 2021

Crystal Schafer has always been vigilant about having yearly mammograms. When COVID hit in 2020, she still made a point to have a mammogram, even though it was delayed by a few months. She's thankful she did because her breast cancer was discovered early and she began treatment. She shared her story of survival on WLTX's Buddy Call series.

Crystal credits the love and support of her circle of family and friends for helping her manage treatment with a positive attitude.
