Lexington Medical Center Welcomes Sara S. Wallace, MD, FAAP

Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome Sara S. Wallace, MD, FAAP, to the hospital’s network of care at Lexington Pediatric Practice. Dr. Wallace joins the board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners and highly skilled staff at the practice to offer a full range of child-health services, including routine checkups, vaccinations and diagnostic services.

A summa cum laude graduate of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Dr. Wallace earned her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. She then completed her pediatric residency in Columbia.

Dr. Wallace is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics with experience in a variety of clinical settings, including pediatric and newborn intensive care, newborn nursery and pediatric emergent care. She most recently served as a pediatric hospitalist in Columbia, providing care for patients in the hospital and those in outpatient clinics.

As the first pediatric practice in the Town of Lexington, Lexington Pediatric Practice has served the community for more than 30 years. Today, there are locations in Lexington and West Columbia. Dr. Wallace will work at the West Columbia location and is accepting new patients.
