Lexington Medical Center Welcomes Brandi P. Derrick, MD

Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome Brandi P. Derrick, MD, to the hospital’s network of care. Dr. Derrick will work at the Irmo location of Peterson and Plante Internal Medicine Associates.

A cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, Dr. Derrick graduated summa cum laude with her medical degree from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in the Netherlands-Antilles. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in medical sciences, graduating magna cum laude, and a bachelor’s degree in hyperbaric medicine from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Louisiana State University in Lafayette, Louisiana and received its Residency Academic Achievement Award.

Dr. Derrick most recently treated patients and provided acute and chronic disease management at University Primary Care in Aiken, South Carolina. Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she is also a member of the South Carolina Medical Association.

Dr. Derrick joins the highly skilled physicians and physician assistant at the Irmo location of Peterson & Plante Internal Medicine Associates to provide comprehensive care to Midlands residents. In addition to well visits and same-day sick and urgent appointments, the practice offers a full range of medical services, including minor surgeries, cardiology and laboratory services, nuclear stress tests, bone density scans and preventive care, at three convenient locations.

Dr. Derrick is accepting new patients.
