Reading, Writing and… Lice.

Head lice is a growing problem among school children. The pesky bugs can spread from child to child by sharing combs, hair bows, hats and more. In this WIS-TV interview, Dr. Lauren Matthews of Lexington Pediatric Practice at Lexington Medical Center talks about keeping head lice from invading your child’s hair.

~We tell our children to wash their hands and not share cups or food, but it’s also important to think about lice.
~To prevent lice, tell your children not to share helmets, caps, brushes, combs or other hair accessories.
