Michelle Gilland is a critical care nurse and recipient of the 2014 Palmetto Gold award for excellence in nursing. Her peers say she excels with patient and family engagement, routinely demonstrating a professional and holistic approach to understanding some of life’s most difficult decisions. Currently working on her master’s degree, she is certified in advanced stroke life support and critical care nursing. She also serves as an American Association of Critical-Care Nurses ambassador.

Dr. Melanie Seybt Answers Questions about Thyroid Disease

This week, Dr. Melanie Seybt of Lexington ENT & Allergy was a guest on WIS-TV with news anchor Dawndy Mercer Plank to talk about thyroid disease.

In Part One of her guest appearance, she talked about the prevalence of thyroid disease and why it affects so many women. You can heard what she said in the link below.
