Urgent Care Video Visits: A New Type of House Call

Lexington Medical Center Urgent Care locations are now offering convenient telehealth visits through MyChart, Lexington Medical Center’s electronic health record.

Just in time for cold and flu season, video visits are now available Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with expanded hours coming soon.

Telehealth visits are for the following conditions:

  • Cold and flu
  • Cold sores
  • Cuts and bruises
  • Fever
  • Gout
  • Mouth sores
  • Muscular skeletal injury
  • Pink eye
  • Rash
  • Sinus
  • Sore throat

You must have a MyChart account to access Urgent Care video visits. To start a video visit, sign into MyChart. From the Quick Links menu, select Talk to a Doctor.

After reviewing or updating your information, you’ll be placed in a virtual lobby and a provider will contact you in MyChart in minutes to set up an appointment. Insurance is billed for virtual visits.
