For patients' convenience, our Urgent Care locations now offer video visits for many conditions. Urgent Care physician Langston Powell, MD, recently sat down with WLTX's Queen Johnson to share details on what conditions can be treated and how to access video care.

Conditions that can be treated during an Urgent Care video visit are:
  • Cold, flu and sinus
  • Sore throat and fever
  • Cuts, bruises and rashes
  • Mouth ulcers and cold sores
  • Pulled, strained or painful muscles and tendons
  • Pink eye
  • Gout
To begin an Urgent Care video visit, you must have a Lexington Medical Center myChart account; have a smartphone, tablet or computer; and be in South Carolina.

To start a video visit, sign into MyChart. From the Quick Links menu, select Talk to a Doctor.

After reviewing or updating your information, you’ll be placed in a virtual lobby and a provider will contact you in MyChart in minutes to set up an appointment. Insurance is billed for virtual visits.
