When it comes to New Year’s resolutions, quitting tobacco is often near the top list.

But despite being a top resolution, it's also quick to be abandoned. Most think willpower alone is enough to kick the habit but statistics show it's very difficult to quit without some support.

The good news is Lexington Medical Center offers free smoking cessation clinics for the community. The clinics are offered at various Lexington Medical Center locations throughout the year. 

The Freedom From Smoking program consists of eight two-hour sessions and boasts a 58% quit rate (compared to the national average of 17 to 23 percent). 

If you're ready to kick the habit, register for one of 2023 clinics:
