If you’ve driven past our hospital campus on Interstate 26 this month, you’ve likely seen Lexington Medical Park 3 lit up in red. It’s in recognition of American Heart Month. Heart disease is the #1 killer of men and women in the United States. In South Carolina, cardiovascular disease is to blame for 1 out of every 3 deaths.
