Hoops for Hearts

Last night was a slam dunk! We had a great time at the University of South Carolina v. Auburn women’s basketball game. USC Athletics Director Ray Tanner presented Dr. Brandon Drafts of Lexington Cardiology, a Lexington Medical Center physician practice, with the game ball in honor of the hospital’s efforts to show our community how to “Just Say Know” to heart disease by learning about risk factors, symptoms and prevention.

If you were there, you may have seen the “heart attack” from our heart commercials. The man who portrays this character personifies a heart attack and tries to guide people to make heart-healthy decisions. He was even in the crowd cheering on the Lady Gamecocks.

USC defeated Auburn 60 – 41.
