LMC Announces New Offices in Chapin
Lexington Medical Center is pleased to announce the opening of new office suites for two of its physician practices: Chapin Women’s Care and Lake Ridge Family Medicine. Both practices are located at the hospital’s community medical center on Columbia Avenue in Chapin.
Lexington Medical Center hosted a ribbon cutting for the new offices on Thursday, August 6th in conjunction with the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce.
“Lexington Medical Center has an un-matched reputation for excellence and civic responsibility. Their top-notch practices here in Chapin are a huge asset to our community,” said Laura Howell, president of the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce.
Chapin Women’s Care has moved into Suite A. Chapin Women’s Care is a gynecology practice. Its physicians are Dr. Evelyn Tucker and Dr. Whitney Thoma. Both doctors graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Tucker completed her residency at Palmetto Health Richland. She joined Lexington Medical Center in 2005. Dr. Thoma trained in Virginia at Carilion Health Systems, an affiliate of the University of Virginia. She joined Lexington Medical Center in 2008 after serving on the faculty of the University of South Carolina’s Ob/Gyn department.
Lake Ridge Family Medicine has moved into Suite B. Its physician is Dr. Douglas Roberts. Dr. Roberts is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in Family Practice at Tripler Army Medical Center.
