Janie C. “Kaki” Bruce, MD Joins Lexington Rheumatology, a Lexington Medical Center Physician Practice
Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome Janie C. “Kaki” Bruce, MD to the hospital’s network of care. Dr. Bruce has joined Bryan Wolf, MD and Bruce Goeckeritz, MD, at Lexington Rheumatology. Dedicated to diagnosing and treating diseases of the joints and soft tissues, the practice also offers a variety of convenient in-house services, such as X-ray, on-site bone density scans and infusion treatments for rheumatic and inflammatory disorders.

Dr. Bruce graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. and earned her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Palmetto Health Richland and Dorn VA Medical Center, and spent a year practicing hospitalist medicine. Dr. Bruce recently finished her rheumatology second year fellowship-in-training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Dr. Bruce is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been a member of the American Medical Association since 2003.
Lexington Rheumatology is currently located at 110 East Medical Lane, Suite 235, in West Columbia. The practice is scheduled to move to Lexington Medical Park 2 on August 5, 2013, located at 146 North Hospital Drive, Suite 550. Lexington Rheumatology will soon offer musculoskeletal ultrasound, a rapidly emerging diagnostic tool for rheumatologists that is new to the industry. The practice is accepting new patients.
