Stand Up to Improve Back Health
You might think that sitting down and staying still is best for your back. But Dr. Scott Boyd of Lexington Brain and Spine Institute at Lexington Medical Center says that a sedentary job can actually hurt your back. In this WLTX interview, Dr. Boyd says it’s best to stand every 20 minutes during the day at the office. Changing positions throughout the day and refraining from sitting all the time will help keep your back on track. He explains more in the video below.
