Dr G Lavigne was the oncall Orthopedic surgeon when Henry arrived at the LMC ER & was diagnosed with a broken femur. We are extremely pleased and satisfied with Dr Vaveign’s care and would happily recommend him to anyone. We would use his services again in a heartbeat.

  2. Dr. Lavigne performed both of my partial knee replacements while located at AGH in Pittsburgh, PA. I can say, with great confidence, that you will not find anyone even close to Dr. Lavigne’s skill and diagnostic ability. I was up and mobile the next day, and have resumed bicycling and many other sports that I had lost the ability to do prior to my surgeries. Done approximately one year apart, both knees are resilient, flexible, and fully-functional for any activities in which I choose to participate. (I am 61 years old!) Thanks Dr. Lavigne. I, for one, will miss you!!

  3. Dr. Lavigne has done many surgeries on me for bilateral knee replacements due to infection or/and loosening. I had him at AGH in Pgh. I am now going to S.C. to have surgery by him again. He is the only physician that I trust to do any of my surgeries and AGH has not been the same without him. He is an extrordinary surgeon and such a special gift that the other surgeons do not have. I will not let any other surgeon touch me. And, boy do I miss him up here.

  4. On May 19,2014 Dr. Lavigne performed Complex (revision) Total knee replacement Surgery on me. I will forever be grateful. I suffered for 17 years with a failed prosthetic knee. I saw so many Doctors that I lost count. It is my belief that GOD sent Dr. Lavigne to S,C and to me. I will be having a total knee replacement on my other knee as soon as I am strong enough. I guess it’s obvious who will be my Doctor. I strongly recommend Dr. Lavigne to anyone. You will never find a more compassionate, caring humble man who happens to be a Doctor. I believe those qualities that make him such a wonderful man defines him as a Doctor, “MY” Doctor. Thanks to Dr Lavigne I am living and not just existing and my quality of life is so much brighter.
