Lexington Women’s Care Opens Third Location

Lexington Medical Center is pleased to announce that Lexington Women’s Care, a hospital physician practice, will open a new location in Lexington.   David Stallard, MD, will shift his medical practice from Lexington Women’s Care’s West Columbia office to the new Lexington location on April 3, 2013.

Dr. Stallard has served with Lexington Women’s Care for more than 20 years and has a reputation for outstanding clinical care while performing thousands of surgeries and delivering countless babies for families in the Midlands over the past two decades.

In the new office, Dr. Stallard will offer office-based prenatal care and comprehensive gynecological services including GYN surgery.

“My colleagues and I at Lexington Women’s Care hope to make a strong, positive, healthy impact on female residents in the Midlands, “ said Dr. David Stallard of Lexington Women’s Care. “We plan to combine a unique mind-body-spirit approach to obstetric and gynecology patients. “

Lexington Women’s Care previously expanded the flagship office in West Columbia with an Irmo location. As the Lexington community continues to grow and change, there have been many requests from patients and community members for care closer to the town of Lexington.

The address of the new Lexington location is 811 West Main Street, Suite 210 Lexington, SC 29072.  The office is inside Lexington Medical Center’s community medical center in Lexington.  Office hours will be: Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday. Appointments may be scheduled up to two years in advance. To schedule an appointment, call 803-936-8100.

Vote for Dr. Epps in Dancing with the Stars, Lexington

It takes two to tango, and Dr. Epps is cutting a rug for Lexington Medical Center in the Dancing with the Stars, Lexington competition on April 22, at the Koger Center.

Dr. Amy Epps, a cardiologist with Lexington Cardiology and a Lexington school graduate, is competing against 11 local celebrities in the event sponsored by Lexington School District 1 Education Foundation.

Each vote raises funds to support district programs and initiatives that are outside the scope of the district’s Annual Fund Budget, such as outfitting STEM Labs at Lexington 1 schools, equipping media centers with up-to-date technology and supporting professional development for teachers.

Dr. Epps has been training with professional dancers from Columbia’s Ballroom Company since early February, check out the video below:
