Behind the Scenes of the 2012 Pink Glove Dance!

For the second year in a row, Lexington Medical Center is entering the Pink Glove Dance video contest sponsored by Medline Industries, Inc., to raise awareness about breast cancer. We filmed the finale of the video Thursday night. WOLO dropped by for a story. Check it out below.

USC Baseball Coach Shares Cancer Journey

During the Lexington Medical Center Foundation’s dinner and talk with University of South Carolina Baseball Coach Chad Holbrook benefitting the foundation’s Cancer Care Fund, the ball coach shared the story of his young son’s diagnosis with cancer.

The Legacy Continues: Dinner with USC Baseball Coaches

Calling all baseball fans! The Lexington Medical Center Foundation will host a dinner and talk with new USC baseball head coach Chad Holbrook, former head coach and new athletics director Ray Tanner, former coach June Raines and a special video appearance by former coach Bobby Richardson. It will be on Tuesday, September 18th at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

Representatives from the LMC Foundation were on WIS-TV this week to talk about it.

The event starts at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person. Dress is University of South Carolina casual. Proceeds from the evening benefit the Lexington Medical Center Foundation’s Cancer Care Fund.

USC Baseball Head Coach Chad Holbrook


Keynote speaker Chad Holbrook became USC’s baseball coach in 2012. Holbrook has been with the USC baseball program since July of 2008. During his time as Associate Head Coach, South Carolina won back-to-back national championships in 2010 and 2011 and finished as the national runner-up in 2012. In 2011, ESPN the Magazine named Holbrook the 10th best recruiter in all of college athletics. After the 2011 season, the ABCA and Baseball America named Holbrook Assistant Coach of the Year.
