A lifelong resident of Lexington, Carol Metts has worked at BB&T bank for more than 40 years, beginning when it was called Lexington State Bank. She has also severed on the boards of several community organizations including Friends of the Lexington County Museum, Nancy K. Perry Children’s Shelter, SC Sheriffs’ Ladies Auxiliary and Theta Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Pi, an international friendship organization.
Metts is a graduate of Lexington High School. She and her husband, Lexington County Sheriff James Metts, have three children and 8 grandchildren.
He has an associate’s degree in business from the University of South Carolina. He serves on the St. James Lutheran Church Council, S.C. Trucking Association board and is a member of the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce.
Tyson has a wife Lisa and a daughter Leigh. He is a Lexington County native and has lived in Lexington for more than 45 years.
