LMC Welcomes Dr. Janice Bacon, OB/Gyn
Dr. Bacon comes to Lexington Medical Center from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Bacon joined the USC faculty in 1983 after completing her internship and residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia. She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida.
Dr. Bacon is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is currently the president-elect of the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Bacon’s professional interests include pediatric and adolescent gynecology and contraceptive management.
Dr. Bacon will be the fourth physician at Women’s Health & Diagnostic Center, joining Dr. Michael Ervin, Dr. Gregory Lyman and Dr. Charles Shipley III. The practice exemplifies compassionate care and high degree of medical excellence.
