Rock Star Treatment

As part of Lexington Medical Center’s 40th Anniversary Celebration, the hospital honored four employees who have worked at the hospital for 40 years.

40 Year Employees: L to R: Sharon Rogers, Ronelle Schumpert, Carol Jodie and Danny Hugueley

Last Thursday, the hospital hosted a special breakfast for them and their families. The honorees had Rock Star treatment. Each one received a gift card as a present for their many years of service. Then, a limosuine drove them to Columbiana Centre for a shopping spree. After the shopping trip, they went to lunch at Copper River Grill.

The honorees are Sharon Rogers, Ronelle Schumpert, Carol Jodie and Danny Huguely. Thank you all for you wonderful service to LMC and our community.

This month, Lexington Medical Center celebrates its 40th anniversary. We opened as a small county hospital on January 6, 1971. Today, we’ve grown into a modern medical complex with state-of-the-art technology and an unsurpassed culture of caring. Each day this month, we’ll share a story from our hospital’s history book.
