LMC Celebrates Our Nurses

By: Sarah McClanahan

Lexington Medical Center honored our nurses on Nurses Day with breakfast and a luncheon. New this year, nurses made table centerpieces using the “tools of their trade” and then selected their favorite. The Women’s and Children’s division won the contest with a display submitted by the Pediatric Unit. This display received “Best Overall” from the nurses in attendance.

Nurses at the breakfast and luncheon also received a copy of the Nursing Annual Report and viewed a slideshow. Both included excerpts from the “My Most Memorable LMC Nursing Moment” stories. Thank you to all of our nurses for everything you do to help make LMC the best network of care in the community!
