
WIS Interviews LMC Volunteer of the Year Jeanette Sox

WIS-TV in Columbia came to Lexington Medical Center on Tuesday, April 21st to interview Jeanette Sox, winner of Lexington Medical Center’s prestigious Thelma Busbee award as Volunteer of the Year for working more volunteer hours at the hospital than anyone else in 2008: 956! WIS named Sox a “Person To Count On.” Sox, a mother and grandmother who is nearly 80 years old and lives in West Columbia, has been a Lexington Medical Center volunteer since 2004. An interview about Sox’s work as a volunteer was broadcast during Live At Five on WIS.
